Winpwn 2.5 has been out for about a week now but I have not tried it yet. I still have great success with the previous version as I have unlocked and jailbroken about 20 G2 iPhones with little or no problems. It seems people are having issues with 2.5 but I am not blaming that on the developers. People also complained about Winpwn 2.0 all the time, but I really had no problems with it. If you followed the steps, you could completely unlock and jailbreak an iPhone in 10 minutes.

Alas, it was just last month that the Everun Note
got official, and yet here it is already having its packaging torn asunder on video.
Raon Digital’s tiny 7-inch offering packs a 1.2GHz AMD Turion CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 12GB SSD. UMPC Portal’s hand model loves the size, build quality, features, and most notably the
performance, but we’re still having a hard time getting over the $879 asking price, and that modified keyboard layout with punctuation keys in the upper-right would be a liability in our Friday night blogger WPM deathmatches. (Winner gets the early shift on Monday!) Video after the break.

It looks like those wanting to practice for their TV poker debut now have at least one, completely impractical lead to follow, as one Andrew Milner has now built what may well be the very first RFID-based, video-equipped DIY poker table. To reproduce the complete TV poker experience at home, Milner employed four cameras to keep watch on the players, with the elaborate RFID system and some custom-made software doing all the dirty work of keeping track of the cards (yes, each card has an RFID tag). As you might have guessed, the build was far from simple, with it taking Milner three months in his spare time, and it obviously wasn’t cheap either, although he won’t go any further than to say that it was “rather expensive.” Be sure to hit up the link below for the full rundown of the project, and a video of it in action.

$119 for a battery to beef up a $380 computer? No thanks, Acer, but how about we nab ourselves a $400 Aspire One with the 6-cell already onboard? Yeah, we like the sound of that. Now we’ve got ASUS, MSI and Acer posing with 6-cells, when are you going to get on board with sexy, Dell?
[Thanks, Jeremy B.]

Living room arenas around the world will soon become even more cluttered with toy instruments thanks to Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour. Axes for the two respective franchises haven’t gotten along on the Wii, and while we’re still not sure whether the next generation will cooperate ezGear is hoping to bring some peace (and eliminate some clutter) for current Nintendo rockers with its ezJam Combo Guitar. Inside its baby-blue Strat-esque styling there’s port to plug in your Wiimote when playing Guitar Hero III as well as an integrated wireless transmitter for Rock Band. At $70 it’s a little more expensive than other third-parties like the Nyko Frontman, but playing lead in two bands instead of one is totally worth it.

Coasters are usually the farthest thing from gadgetry you can get, however, these coasters feature a pixelated quality that no geek could pass up. It comes in one big book that includes fifty sheets, so you can decide to have an overly long coaster if it suits you. You can also break off the average one square. Once you have chosen your length, you can then pop out the individual squares to customize your coaster. You could of course go for the classic Space Invaders or you could just pop out a few random squares to give the coaster a little more character.
